What you should see...Cine'!

Black Swan- Saw it twice!!! Totally raw cinematography and being a dance theatre aficionado ( I danced ballet from age 4-13) I loved it and the realistic depiction of the dance world. Oh by the way, Rodarte did costume design and last year debuted a line for target (I grabbed the bow-tie nude&lace print tee, tre chic) hope to see redux for this  season as well.

I was left awe-struck by this movie, which took three years to film so that played a part in cinematography and with the different levels of emotion experienced by the characters: Throughout their different stages of love and whether they can withstand the inevitable changes we go through in life.

Keep it in the closet...

Right now, you maybe thinking what should you keep in your closet?
Well, ladies and gents I feel here are some key things to keep:
Let's keep those ralph lauren shawl collared sweaters with leather elbow patches, brogues, pinstripes, etc...
Yet, here's a unisex style classic the shearling coat have been a classic go to for the crucial weather for nyc via toronto. They can last a lifetime and also price range from the hundreds to in the thousands, so to stay within budget if you've got a chance rummage through vintage stores or maybe you have a relative whose uber-stylish and with some great treasures buried in their closets. Just make sure to do your research, when it comes to the quality: pull of a piece (tuft) of the wool to ensure it won't come out and is naturally attached to leather and not glued.

For your feet, when the weather doesn't permit you to wear your hard bottoms: keep it simple sweetheart...Unisex Classic boots by LL Bean and for the ladies Tory Burch "Halima" boots and Men's brogue boots are both awesome for those chilly nights that you need weather appropriate boots that still are  a force to be reckoned with.

Ladies, equestrian wear has never gone out of style when worn in neutral tones and looks great paired with that crisp tailored shirt, chunky sweater, or turtle neck.
Capes are making a classic return this season, to be worn with extreme flair and easy for those brisk days and paired with long leather gloves for a elegant day and evening look.
